Glenbrook North High School is among four high schools in Illinois and 352 other schools nationwide to be named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School.

The U.S. Department of Education announced on Sept. 19 that Glenbrook North High School is a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School, according to a news release.

“Glenbrook North has many long-standing traditions of which we are proud,” Ed Solis, Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, said. “This recognition illuminates our strong history and validates the constant pursuit of innovation and excellence by our teachers, administrators and students.”

According to the release, Glenbrook North educators are passionate about their subject material and create meaningful, authentic lessons that continuously motivate students while being responsive to diverse learning needs.
