CEBU CITY – Officials of an elementary school in Barili, Cebu were shocked when they found out that one of their teachers was arrested for illegal drugs.

Sheila Ares, principal of Mantalongon Elementary School, said they didn’t hear any reports or notice that 39-year-old teacher Glenn Pacaldo was involved in peddling illegal drugs.Suspected shabu worth P2,040 was seized from the teacher, police said.

She added that Pacaldo is known as a good teacher and was an active participant when the school hosted anti-illegal drug symposiums.
