Liberal MP Craig Kelly says air conditioning in schools and homes should not be a luxury in Australia, as it is a hot country.
Air conditioning uses a lot of coal-fired power generated electricity, says Mr Kelly, so for a lot of schools cooling systems are a ‘no no’, due to the environmental impact and the running costs. Mr Kelly suggests that instead of spending $75 billion on renewables over the past decade, the country should have spent $1 billion on installing air conditioning for student classrooms.
This has been a problem for as long as you been in government where has been your advocacy for it over the last 6 years non existent you been to busy toppling leaders.

A lot of schools have solar and I’m sure they have the roof space for more. Or you can try using the car parks like Flinders, latrobe, usqedu and others are doing.
