LONDON - President Donald Trump said he takes Mr Kim Jong Un"at his word" that he wasn't aware of North Korea's imprisonment and torture of US college student Otto Warmbier, who died after being detained for more than 17 months.
"In those prisons and those camps you have a lot of people, and some really bad things happened to Otto, some really, really bad things," Mr Trump said."But he tells me he didn't know about it, and I will take him at his word.
At the time, Mr Trump called his treatment"a disgrace" and said that the North Korean government was a"brutal regime. North Korea said Mr Warmbier become ill from botulism, but American doctors found no evidence of that.
Well! Y didnt he take RocketMan for his word on DeNuclearation?🚀🙆🏼♂️..🤔
How the hell are those N Korean soldiers wearing what appear to be US military issue Vietnam service ribbons?
MoronPresident of course he knew
Kim killed his brother and relatives too. He doesn’t mind killing an American man who committed a crime
Kim’s probably telling the truth. It’s not like Obama brought it to his attention. 🤨 OttoWarmbier

This Narrative is a distraction. Sanctions against N Korea remain. That’s the main Point of the Summit.
When did Kim Jong Un become unaware what happens in his own country 🤔

realDonaldTrump POTUS know the truth. But, it in convenient now to act or speak like he trusts Kim. Kim also knows that realDonaldTrump did not believe him on this, But, for diplomatic niceties & need to compromise, both have to act, at least in public, like they trust other
