A West Philadelphia charter school was placed on lockdown due to a nearby shooting Tuesday morning, police said.
An unidentified person was shot on the 6200 block of Callowhill Street shortly before 10 a.m., according to investigators. Police arrived at the scene and took the victim to the hospital.
