University Heights took the owner of the Waterstone Medical Center, 14100 Cedar Road, to Shaker Municipal Court after 122 exterior code violations went unfixed.

The city of University Heights took to court the owner of the Waterstone Medical Center over exterior code violations.UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The owner of the Waterstone Medical Center has found himself on probation after the city took him to court over exterior code violations at the building, 14100 Cedar Road, next door to University Square.

The court, however, suspended all jail time and fines upon the completion of one year active probation and the correction of all violations. The court further ordered Wasserstein to meet with University Heights Chief Building Official Denis Garcia on Aug. 23 to go over all the needed work, and then submit a plan for the repair work.Planning Commission tabled an application

“I will not hesitate to ask our prosecutor to review this matter for probation violation and the imposition of sentence if Mr. Wasserstein fails to take action to remedy all 122 violations and bring the building into full compliance.”
