A 16-year-old Atlantic County girl was arrested on charges she assaulted a police officer and a school security officer during a dispute at a high school football game Thursday night, police said. The Pleasantville girl, who was not named due to her age, was involved in a dispute with other teenagers and young adults after a football game at Egg Harbor Township High School, township police said. She faces aggravated assault on a police officer.

None of the people involved are students from either school district involved in the game — Absegami High School in Galloway and Egg Harbor Township.Egg Harbor Township police Officer Robert Moran was treated by medical personnel on scene and later at the hospital for injuries from the assault. A high school security officer was also injured, authorities said.
