Queen's University Belfast has been named the best university in Northern Ireland and one of the best in the UK on The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024.
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024 provides the definitive rankings for UK universities and the most comprehensive overview of higher education in the UK. It includes profiles of 134 universities, making use of the latest data. The latest data also showed that Oxford and Cambridge have seen a rising proportion of entrants from non-selective state schools, with 49.5% of students at Cambridge coming from such schools, and 53.5% of Oxford students. This is an increase of 9.4% and 14.1% respectively since 2018.
