A man wanted on robbery-related charges in Northumberland County escaped law enforcement in Camp Hill Borough Thursday morning, police said. Brian Acosta Melendez, 29, of Arlington Street, fled from Camp Hill police and U.S. marshals as they tried to arrest him at his Arlington Street home Thursday morning, police said.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was executing an arrest warrant for robbery and firearms charges that stemmed from an incident on Sept. 4 in Sunbury, Northumberland County, according to police., which was when police believe Acosta Melendez left the area, police said.Police ask anyone who knows Acosta Melendez’s whereabouts to call Camp Hill police at 737-1570.
