I attended thewhich was hosted by chief Brad MacConnell and the Charlottetown police. I am glad I went!

This was the beginning of de-institutionalization which was the start of a process to get us where we are today. Further to that many of these individuals have lost their dignity. Prison or jail beds for the most part have replaced their hospital beds. People taking mood-altering schizophrenic drugs are stable, however easy access to crystal meth and fentanyl puts them in a whole new world and mental mood.Our streets are different because the street drugs are different.

The public meeting was a good start! Only a start! The drug and illicit drug scene is serious! It started to grow exponentially around 25 years ago with the immoral marketing of drug companies to the medical profession. The addictive properties of OxyContin were covered up. This was the beginning. Now crystal meth and fentanyl are readily available and cheap.
