It was a pretty good week for the Central Dauphin School District in the Pa. player of the week voting because CD East's Jared Porter finished second, too.

Nearly 57,000 votes were cast in the poll, sponsored by Renewal by Andersen of Central PA, and 20,534 of those went to Smith.

CD East’s Jared Porter, who broke Chase Edmonds’ school record for touchdowns in his team’s win over Northeastern, was second with 11,511 votes. Greenburg Salem running back Brady Smith was third with 6,060 votes followed by Altoona running back Bron Mosley , Claysburg Kimmel running back Mark Lattieri , Mount Carmel quarterback Cole Spears , North Allegheny running back Tyree Alualu , Claysburg-Kimmel quarterback Mason Campagna , North Star .
