The Vice-Chancellor of University of Ibadan, Professor Kayode Adebowale, has disclosed that the newly-admitted students of the university have no excuse

Adebowale made this disclosure during the matriculation ceremony for the newly-admitted students of the institution on Tuesday.

The students were led in the matriculation oath by the Registrar of the institution, Mr Ganiyu Saliu. “You have no excuse not to read and make good grades. As earlier stated, the university is a place of freedom, but it is freedom guided by rules. There are established rules guiding engagements in the university.
