JERSEY SHORE- Members of this Lycoming County community are rallying around the Jersey Shore Area High School player who remains hospitalized after collapsing Friday night near the end of the Bulldogs’ game with Selinsgrove.after a timeout with 11 seconds remaining in the game that was tied at 21.
Added school district Superintendent Brian Ulmer about all the support, “It doesn’t surprise me at all. The community is very supportive of each other.” Shikellamy is one of the school districts that have contacted Jersey Shore offering support, Ulmer said. She is selling the flags that contain the wording – Jersey Shore Bulldogs and Pray for #4 – at a discount because she said she does not want to make money off a tragedy.stated: “On behalf of our entire family, thank you everyone for the continued prayers and support. It got behind Caleb Leone and his family after the then senior defensive end suffered a brain injury in a helmet-to-helmet hit during practice on Aug. 14, 2018.to help with the healing process and he endured complications that included pneumonia, blood pressure issues and stroke.
