Oakland Teachers Go on Strike, Demand Big Pay RaisesTeachers in Oakland, Calif., went on strike in the country’s latest walkout by educators over classroom conditions and pay. If California would make it easier for good charter schools to exist in their state, class sizes would be way smaller. And also, they would be smaller if vouchers were given to the parents to decide for themselves where their kids should go. We’re wasting all of our insanely high tax revenue on a high speed rail from nowhere and back instead. I live in Cali. This place is a joke. Maybe if there weren't so many illegal immigrants filling the classrooms their would be better conditions and some of the money that supports illegals could go to the schools. California has decided what kind of state it wants to be and now it must be willing to pay the price.

Oh, because most charter schools do not follow the dumbing down of America agenda of the left.
