Shanghai Clinical Research and Trial Center, the Research Hospital of ShanghaiTech University

It has established six disease diagnosis and treatment centers focusing on clinical/health problem-oriented research in the major fields of 1) Tumor, 2) Neurological diseases, 3) Pan-vascular diseases, 4) Respiratory system diseases, 5) Rheumatic, immune and musculoskeletal diseases, and 6) Sensory system diseases.

3. Directors of the disease diagnosis and treatment centers: Senior Physician-Scientists who implement the vision and lead the strategic direction for the center in multi-disciplinary clinical practice, research and education. A successful candidate will be an MD or MD/PhD who is committed to pioneering major advances in medical practice through clinical and/or translational research.

With the backing and support of Shanghai Municipal Government and Chinese Academy of Sciences, ShanghaiTech’s six schools and seven research institutes are committed to tackling the challenges that China and the world are facing in the fields of energy, materials, biology, environment, human health, information technology and mathematics.
