All bus drivers (carrying kids and adults) should be required to take regular drug tests, including random tests, as a condition of continued employment. I’m sure this driver passed a drug test when she was hired, but this shows need for ongoing testing. Lucky no one was killed.

This is one of the worst kept secrets— the entrustment of our children to these bus drivers. Here in Virginia, the schools are constantly searching for drivers, often drawing from a geriatric and otherwise unemployable pool. It’s a disgrace.
