Canberrans' worst excuses for speeding in a school zoneNo, telling the officer you're late will not get you out of a ticket. The article itself lists no actual excuses. Perhaps Canberrans generally just brazen it out now? I have often wondered how the Queensland TMR knows there isn't any students on the roads near school outside the nominated times for exactly the reasons given by the Canberra minister. When are people going to learn SPEEDING doesn’t get you to you location faster. All you are doing is increasing the chances of cussing a bad accident where you could hurt and or kill someone it’s never worth it! Nor is using your phone while driving!
