This is political correctness gone mad, it’s been mum & dad forever no changes please . How about same sex relationships notify how they would like to be referenced, but don’t just make the change. Any rational couples will be sensible enough to make known their preference.

Why can't they have it parent 1/parent 2 for same sex marriages on the form but also leave it mother and father on the form for normal marriages too,it makes people feel in those marriages less important and all marriages and parents of whatever description are important
