The Gettysburg Area School District board Monday night postponed a decision on the renewal of a transgender tennis coach’s contract - a matter which has caused an outpouring of public concern, most of it supportive of the longtime coach. Roughly 200 people attended meeting, where the board was set to vote on several employment matters, including the renewal of Sasha Yates’ tennis coaching contract.
