Saturday, August 19 Markets: The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

Visit Northern Nature Trading, a special kind of swap shop! Bring in items you've found in nature and trade them for things in the collection. You can trade things made by nature like rocks, shells, fossils and pine cones. Trading is based on points; you are awarded points for what you know about your item, what makes it different from similar ones and the quality . For more information contact the Mary J.L. Plan to attend the Murillo Oliver Agricultural Society’s Murillo Fair! Admission prices are $5 per person with kids under 5 years old getting free entrance! The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with plenty of activities, vendors, and entertainment to enjoy.
