KAYSVILLE — High school football at its best was on display Friday night at Davis High in a 35-34 win for the Darts over West Jordan.
The Darts seemed to have the game in hand after a 24-point first quarter shutout, but the West Jordan Leopards had a run of their own in them. Giovonni Polanco ran it in from 14 yards out to bring the Leopards within 10 points, and then a recovered onside kick allowed West Jordan to score again just 42 seconds later on a run from Tevita Makaafi, capping off 21 unanswered points for the visiting team.
