A student of the Department of Guidance and Counselling, Lagos State University, Ademola Ayinla, and two others lost their lives in a multiple roach crash that occurred on the Sagamu-Benin highway in Ogun State on Tuesday.

Ayinla was said to have been rescued from the crash and rushed to a nearby hospital in Ilishan Remo where the doctor on duty later confirmed him dead.The state police command, in a statement on Wednesday, identified the vehicles involved in the crash as a Geon Truck with number plate LAR 730 XB driven by one Rasak Olayinka, an unregistered Toyota Sienna driven by one Kelechi Nwagu, and a Lexus car with number plate BDG 979 HD driven by one Sorunke Emmanuel.

The command said the accident occurred when the driver of the Lexus car drove recklessly and rammed into the moving truck, causing the Lexus to somersault and the Sienna to hit the Lexus, trapping it and its occupants.
