Previously, we shared how the federal government is planning to provide subsidised flight tickets for Malaysian university students between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.
The RM300 subsidy is for Malaysians studying in public universities in our country, with the applicable flight tickets being for domestic routes between Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan. If the portal confirms that you are entitled to the initiative, you can then proceed to apply for the RM300 subsidy via any one participating airlines, namely Malaysia Airlines , AirAsia, Batik Air and MYAirline via the airlines’ respective websites.
Once you’ve submitted the application and it is received by the respective airline, the latter would then produce a digital voucher worth RM300 to you via a “credit shell” that can be used to purchase flight tickets.
