Half of all New Jersey adults approve of the job Murphy is doing, according to a Monmouth University Poll released Wednesday.

’s approval ratings among New Jersey residents have dipped slightly since the start of his second term last year, a new poll shows.

Those numbers are down slightly since the start of his second term in 2022 due primarily to dips in his approval rating among independents, which fell eight points to 43%. Approval among Republicans also saw a slight decline, falling five points to 12%, while remaining steady among fellow Democrats at 85%.
