Starting in the autumn, the course is called Literature: Taylor's Version and will be added to the master's degree in language and literature. Assistant professor Elly McCausland, who'll teach the course, says she's never had so many enquiries about the classes., “I’ve never had so many emails from excited students asking if they can take the course,” “And actually non-students as well, people who are not part of the university and who want to participate in some way.”
McCausland, who describes herself as a “longtime Swiftie” says Swift’s lyrics,"which are often threaded with literary references, deserve a deeper look".
