A study published in BMCPsychology finds that COVID-19 patients experience psychological distress and sleep disturbances. It also identifies critical factors including objective support and coping styles as associated factors.

] during the COVID-19 pandemic, limited attention has been given to these associations in patients with COVID-19. Understanding the psychological and social factors that can help protect against psychological distress in patients with COVID-19 is crucial.

A total of 407 inpatients met the specified criteria and were included in the study.This study was conducted by doctors working at the hospital and was approved by the Medical Ethics Committees of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University . Participants were provided information about the purpose of the study and assured that their data would remain confidential.
