During the first game of a three-game set over the weekend, one of my old teammates observed that on each pitch every member of the Georgia team was staring down at an electronic device, either on their wrists or on their belt. Apparently, everything from pitches to field placement was being dictated by the coaching staff. We old-timers viewed this behavior with more than skepticism.
