A Stretford woman who helped provide false alibis for two of Aya Hachem's killers has become the latest person to be jailed following her murder. The 19-year-old law student at Salford University was shot dead while out shopping for food for her family.
Lancashire Police said Bainbridge did this to create the false impression that Raja and Ennis were not in Blackburn at the time of Aya’s shooting, but rather Greater Manchester, therefore providing them with a false alibi. Aya had been shot by Raja, who was sitting in the back of a Toyota Avensis being driven by Ennis.
The shooting was the culmination of a long-running feud between Feroz Suleman, the owner of RI Tyres, and Mr Khan. But Aya had no connection to anyone in the case and was simply going about her everyday business.
