Teacher Charged with Sexual Assault and Exploitation of High School Student

Shannon Marie Quinn, 40, was charged with five counts each of sexual assault and sexual exploitation following an investigation into incidents involving a teacher “and one of her high school students.”The investigation commenced in July and the alleged crimes occurred between March and May of this year, according to police.

Investigators with the sexual assault and child abuse unit “are concerned that there may be other student victims,” police said in a news release.Article content Counsellors will be available to assist students at school starting on Monday, officials said, and students are encouraged to call the school to arrange an appointment.
