The headline should be: UW & coaches welcome Howards national anthem protest. There's a long list of does and don't that the NCAA & universities are allowed & do enforce on college athletes. I suppose stand, or sit in the locker room, is just to harsh.

The history book will read: 'They took over 100 years to finally get the message.' ...and the kid will ask,'Why were they so dumb, it's so obvious!' ...and the teacher will say: 'They ate gluten back then.'
