I am all for armed guards at schools. However these armed guards need to be highly trained , highly proficient in conflict management. Retired law-enforcement officers and honorably discharged military are good candidates. It’s better to be proactive than reactive.
School shooters are the results of pier pressure and the bullying curtain kids. It’s not a gun problem with legal owners it’s the kids at school treating those that are misfortunate who end up as victims. And when pushed to a point. This is the results of it.

Another school shooting will happen even with heavily armed guards. Some degree of false safety and maybe casualty counts are lowered.
