Sooo brave

A very noble cause. However, when I was their age I would have gone on strike for longer sticks on toffee apples if it meant a day off school. They could be just as effective demonstrating on a Saturday/Sunday!

Go kids I think this is brilliant

What are these children committing to give up in their own lives in order to flight climate change?

Eric Hobsbawm would not have supported University of London boycott | LetterLetter: Richard J Evans on why an event to launch his book about the Marxist historian went ahead despite a call from the IWGB union for it to be called off This letter contains a factual inaccuracy. As was pointed out to RichardEvans36 last week, the first email to him was sent over two weeks before the event. The other speakers were given similar notice. “Actually, the picket line isn’t good since the bosses are working on the problems already.Stop hurting the trade union movement by boycotting and instead just cross the picket line in order to make it more cohesive” - person who is definitely a committed left-winger, not a fraud This letter is a mess. First off, he doesn't even know what the IWGB is. It didn't split off from Unison or any other union, but was an offshoot of the IWW wobblies. Second, you can't argue 'it is okay to be a scab just because the workers organizing a boycot aren't TUC'. Shame!
