Playwright Eden Middleton explains that, for people who feel emotions really intensely, it’s difficult to know when and how to explain to someone who you really are, and what you’ve concealed as opposed to what you’re really feeling. This is an issue Middleton and the play’s director, Lizzie Rajchel, have dealt with in real life, and which they explore through the character played by Kat Armstrong in Date Night.
Date Night runs Tuesday from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. in Festival Hall and prospective audience members should definitely expect the unexpected.THIS CONTENT IS RESERVED FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLYUnlimited online access to articles from across Canada with one account.
