Area shelters' dogs and cats are in need of their forever homes. This week, meet a teenager dog who is looking for a home without small children and is still learning how to make friends with other dogs. Visit the Oakland shelter to meet this dog with a $50 adoption fee.

Life can be overwhelming as a teenager, so it may take me time to get comfy. With some fun clicker training I have the brains to go the distance! I’d like to find a home without small children, and I’m still figuring out how to make friends with other dogs. Meet me at the Oakland shelter. My adoption fee is $50. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

Community Concern for Cats now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Walnut Creek and Martinez along with our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek. VisitYogurt is a mellow little man who finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. He’s the perfect companion for quiet evenings spent snuggled up together. With a gentle demeanor and desire to connect with others, he will win your heart and become a cherished member of your family.
