More intrusive methods of surveillance were also reported. About 32 per cent of employees indicated experiencing at least one of the following: location tracking, webcam/video recording, keyboard/keystroke monitoring, computer screen capture or biometrics . Such findings corroborate studies in other jurisdictions, including the U.S. and Europe, highlighting theof excessive surveillance. Moreover, they provide empirical evidence revealing how surveillance disproportionately impacts individuals from vulnerable and marginalized communities.
