Wong Weng Ian from Macau took silver with 9.593 points ahead of Lydia Sham of Hong Kong .

Tammy is the first Malaysian athlete to bag gold in the Universiade since Malaysia started participating in Kobe, Japan back in 1985. Malaysia have won six silvers and 14 bronzes since then but the gold has proved elusive until Sunday. Mandy Cebelle Chen delivered the first medal for Malaysia when she took bronze in the women's taijiquan event on Saturday.
