Better school choice will also help address the need of Alberta’s industrial economy for more trade workers and STEM experts. Alberta Education is to fund growth for more students in paid internships and to implement an apprenticeship system for high school students interested in vocational and trades education. Alberta Education will also look at speeding up teaching certification to fast-track instructors of skilled trades and other professions into teaching positions.
The UCP’s social studies K-6 rewrite was a mess.
