High School Musical Season 4 Clip Teases Troy, Sharpay & Gabriella — Will They Return?

In the upcoming final installment of the hit Disney+ show, the characters of HSMTMTS return to East High for their senior year, at which point they find out that the school is being used to film the long-awaited High School Musical 4: The Reunion, and that they'll all be cast as extras.

In a new clip from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 4, which debuts all of its eight episodes as of August 9 on Disney+, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, and Kaycee Stroh take the stage to perform a song from the reunion movie. The actors reprise their respective High School Musical roles of Chad Danforth, Taylor McKessie, Ryan Evans, and Martha Cox. At one point, Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay are mentioned. It's also noted that the trio has been especially quiet in the group chat.

HSMTMTS Season 4's Cast Is Big — But Are There More Cameos? High School Musical season 4 will be quite busy. The show is bringing back a lot of familiar faces and welcoming new ones, in addition to the already existing main cast. It also has several different storylines to tie up. The upcoming episodes will feature the actual students putting on their own version of High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Along with Bassett and Wylie, the cast of HSMTMTS season 4 includes Dara Reneé , Julia Lester , Frankie Rodriguez , Kate Reinders and Liamani Segura . Mark St. Cyr, Matt Cornett, Larry Saperstein, Joe Serafini, Adrian Lyles, and Saylor Bell Curda will recur in their respective roles as Mr. Mazzara, EJ, Big Red, Seb, Jet, and Maddox. Newcomers to the ensemble include Kylie Cantrall, Matthew Sato, Caitlin Reilly, and Vasthy Mompoint.
