Mother faces 200km daily school run after children refused places on school busesAfter their local school closed, Alyce Paterson was offered transport to one of two local schools, but she now has to drive her children after being told school buses are full. Misleading, there choice not to use the local high school Whilst the private jebus schools have to worry about what color seats they want on their buses. Absolute bullshit. If there are 7 children on the waiting list for the bus between these 2 towns, it begs the question why they aren’t ride sharing

Practical or paranoid? One in five parents electronically track their child's trip to schoolJo Coleman loves walking her kids to school, but eventually they will want to go by themselves. When that happens she is considering joining many other parents who use a device to track their trip. This is mostly nonsense. In a normal household / family of course it makes absolute sense to ‘know where your child is’ as well as ‘know who they’re with’ and ‘know where they’re supposed to be and when’. THEY ARE KIDS. TEENAGERS, EVEN. Some families operate like teams, a bit like military units even, it is not about not distrusting a member it is about the power that comes from synergy and that plus communications tools are a key part of maintaining such coherence across the group, so long as it is done openly.
