Jack Grealish donates large sum to leukaemia appeal to save a student's life

Jack Grealish appears to have donated £5,000 to a £1million leukaemia appeal to save a student's life.

His family are in a race against time to raise the money for Dylan to travel to the USA for a clinical trial. Without the treatment it's feared he only has weeks to live.: "Dylan needs the clinical treatment because the chemotherapy is just extending his life rather than saving it. He really needs to go to the US.

"Dylan is so lovely - genuinely the nicest person you'll ever meet. Even though he's going through all this, he's still managing to stay positive.Kalvin Phillips explains why 'family man' Jack Grealish is his inspiration at Man City "He has been getting out and about with his friends and taking it all as he can really. Dylan had just finished his first year and we hope he can go back for his second term, but we need to raise the money quickly, and then go from there."

It's not been confirmed whether it is Manchester City and England star Grealish sent the £5K to the appeal but the donation has his name next to it."We've been sending the appeal to loads of footballers - I think he probably saw it," added Kelly. "It's amazing we managed to hit £91,000 in four days. We have a long way to go, but we're hopeful."
