Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) has described the Benue State governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia as the

first governor in Nigeria to implement the Revised Medical Residency Training Fund 2023 at the revised rate.

While appreciating the efforts of the acting chief medical director, Dr Michael Maanongun in ensuring the fruition of this effort, the association also commended Governor Alia, for his uncommon commitment to resolving the challenges faced by the healthcare sector within the state.
