OCPD Asst Comm Zulkipli Suhaili said on Sunday the Commercial Crime Investigation Department received a report from the victim who claimed she was deceived in an online job offer that promised lucrative commission."She was interested in getting a 5% commission by ordering goods over an app .ACP Zulkipli said the victim was required to make a payment for goods to an account number given, with the condition that the money must be transferred within 20 minutes.
From May 18 to June 30, the victim made 53 transfers to seven local bank accounts for the purpose of completing the order of goods to obtain the promised commission."However, until the report was made, she did not receive any commission.
