Several people have been injured after a car crashed into a primary school building in Wimbledon, south London.
Officers, firefighters and paramedics, including London’s Air Ambulance, were called to the incident at around 9.54am on Thursday at the school in Camp Road, where The Study Preparatory school is located. In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said it was called “to reports of a Land Rover vehicle having collided with a primary school building”.
The statement said: “Officers, London’s Air Ambulance [HEMS] and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended.“Officers remain on scene. This incident is ongoing.” Fire crews are also at the scene of the incident.
