Jaila Mabry, a recent graduate from Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, came in fourth in the nation in expository speaking at the National Speech and Debate Association championship in Phoenix and will attend Harvard University in the fall.

Jaila Mabry, with Eisenhower High School Principal Benjamin Blakeley, receives the Tariq Ali Memorial Scholarship, presented annually to an outstanding member of the band program.

She came in fourth in the nation in expository speaking at the National Speech and Debate Association championship in Phoenix and has garnered other wins for her speaking prowess since she was a sophomore.All her hard work and talent has also paved the way to Harvard University with some generous scholarships.Jaila Mabry, who recently graduated from Eisenhower High School, after winning at the National Speech and Debate Association national championships.
