A second boy has tragically lost his life while holidaying in Greece the boys' school confirmed earlier today - 'such shocking and devastating loss over the last 24 hours'

Earlier this weekend, it was reported that one 18-year-old, named as Andrew O'Donnell, had passed away while holidaying in the popular tourist spot. He has been remembered as a "popular classmate and friend".The Department of Foreign Affairs said it was "aware of the case and is providing consular assistance".

"We have learned of the tragic passing of Andrew O’Donnell, a member of our recently graduated class of 2023," his former school, St Michael's College in Dublin, said in a statement. "He was kind to those around him, honest in all of his endeavours, and a great brother. Andrew will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.The boy's school later confirmed a second student had passed away on the Greek holiday, as they announced the devastating loss of life:
