The Education Minister said the matter had been resolved amicably between the school and the parents of the seven-year-old boy during a meeting at the state Education Department.
It was earlier reported that Rembau police chief Supt Hazri Mohamad saying that the father of the pupil involved had accepted the teacher's explanation during a meeting involving the family, Rembau district education officers, the school and the police last Wednesday. In another development, Fadhlina said the ministry had established a special committee to ensure the smooth implementation of the Malaysian Education Development Plan 2013-2025, which is now entering its third wave.
