St. FX University claims comment related to sexual assault survivor instigated hockey brawlThe incident occurred in the third period of a game between St. FX and Acadia last Saturday in Wolfville, N.S., leading to the ejection of five Axemen players, eight FX-Men and both head coaches I can't believe a hockey brawl was considered newsworthy to start with. A number of current X-men and Axemen players are from Windsor, Ont, and/or played for that city's major jr team. A quick google search (Windsor Spitfires + Ben Johnson + sexual assault) may go a long way to explain (a) what happened last wknd and (b) why hockey's a thug sport. I think they all looked really bad here, coaches and players alike.
