He’s referring to something he experienced years ago as a young man,he reacted emotionally,never did anything violent with it and moved on and seems to accept everyone. This reaction is “outrage” garbage again-he opened a dialogue that should be talked “about” not “shouted down”!

Wish I had a friend that would be that angry if I was raped. Know he was misdirecting that anger, but I’m sure if he knew who the specific scumbag had been, he would have beat the crap out of him only. Hope the perpetrator did get caught and faced justice.
People that are judging his comments have not experienced or conceived of the notion of a loved one going though this. His reaction was normal in my opinion and he openly admitted to feeling sick and ashamed of those feelings. No further apologies needed.

The_LiamNeeson was honest and mature about his feelings. You can't condemn rape AND condemn feeling rage against it. I'm glad he didn't follow through while in that state, and learned a valuable emotional lesson he aptly articulated. If only we could all pause before acting...
