President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed former Sultan Kudarat Governor Suharto Mangudadatu as Director General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority .

Aside from being a provincial governor, Mangudadatu has also served as Representative of both the Lone District and First District of Sultan Kudarat. Mangudadatu also served as the municipal mayor of the Municipality of Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat from July 1998 to June 2004.
