How the hell did she get caught is what I want to know... Where are the parents

This woman is a hero, she saw a child in need and proactively filled that need rather than siting by doing nothing. That's the type of person needed in the school system today. People who genuinely care for our children.

Casey is a hero not a criminal. It’s really sad that our society makes it impossible to help the people who need it the most. Casey is not part of the problem she is part of the solution. Sometimes doing the right thing it’s not “politically correct” or even legal now days.

She committed fraud there was no reason for her to do it she was trying to save a buck. Greet got her not not the system

What I would’ve given for her to be my autistic daughter’s teacher when she was in school! With a teacher like this lady, her experience might have been drastically different. I hope she doesn’t lose her credentials to teach. Any school worth anything would snatch her up

There was a time when we cared more about a sick child then the insurance that helped him! Bravo ma’am! Bravo for being a Human being!

Which insurance company?

in trumps america, heroes are villains. this is what fascism does to the mind.

Hmmm...something doesn’t add up...no mention of the child’s guardian/parent? Why would a Superintendent reach out to an individual student? A principal maybe, but a school superintendent? Hope there isn’t more to this story....

Hopefully another school system will proudly hire her.

This superintendent should NOT B Fired or Nor should she quite When a person like her that has compassion 4 a students health issue Should B praised NOT Punished Probably what was spent on medical bills She has paid it 2 the ins co 10 Xs over without using the ins💰on her own son

Wow if medical treatment was for all this wouldn't of happened so you want to lock someone up for helping someone who don't have insurance u are wicked

I don't blame her ! She's too good to be there .

'She should be acquitted, because she was protecting the child's welfare...if this child really needed medical attention...'I, TY JACKSON STEWART' will do the same...'

She doesn’t sound like a criminal to me.. more like a humanitarian

she should have paid cash Superintendents make $200K

She deserves a medal!

It’s sad that a caring person has to resort to such extremes to get help for a child. Medicare for all might solve this kind of issue.

When I'm President, the pre-signed pardon and job offer to take over as Education Secretary would already have been be done!

Her heart was in the right place even though it was wrong.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The late Davy Jones of The Monkees told a story. When they were on top of the world things were given to them for free. Then Jones fell on hard times sweeping horse shit at a Fla stable, he couldn't find anyone to give him $5.00...

They charged her with three felonies over a $233 bill? WTF!

Yes isn't this always the way! A person who seeks to extend mercy to one in need gets destroyed, while the uncaring masses look on. We need to find ways to care for such kids, and not charge the Good Sameritan with crime.

I think its time to protect the kids and not the insurance companies.

She should've made the district fire her, while Americans everywhere googled the term, 'jury nullification.'

I agree with how this issue has been handled. She is a super nice woman, and she deserves the forgiveness that she is receiving. I hope she will get her job back or even a promotion in the future.

My hero

Shero!

I think she did the wrong thing for the right reason. She has a good heart.

Unbelievable. This is what happens when you care?

SpeakerPelosi morethanmySLE TeamPelosi AOC SenBooker KamalaHarris RepJoeKennedy If we had universal health care like most of the civilized world, this wouldn’t be an issue. She was trying to save a very sick kid!

Sir_Bradford Give her a reward. What kind of country is this?

Do we know why the child didn’t have insurance coverage under ObamaCare?

She took a kid who wasn’t hers to see the medicos and get treated without the actual parents knowledge. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Her heart was in the right place. I think a warning or probation is appropriate.

Sick

No matter what happens, I love you. And thank you.

If ever there were a candidate for a GoFundMe page.

I don’t get why ppl think this is ok? If a teacher came to my house and took MY kid to the doctor without MY permission and got him meds without MY permission, I’d sue. Just no. If she was worried there r other ways of going about it.

This is a real nation emergency.

If any deserves a go fund me it’s this woman right here. She was doing what the state should have done. Giving medical care to a child!

Insurance fraud ... Practically an oxymoron The whole industry is based on fraud

She cared about her student and I think it is terrible that people have to commit fraud to help someone who is ill.

Her heart was in the right place, but if she just paid cash for the visit none of this would have happened.

US should have Australian healthcare system, even at the cost of believing in socialism

Wow .. incredible.. and so sad .. the US is truly looking like we are back “again”

I support you. A child needed help and you provided it. A prescription for antibiotics is no reason for criminal charges. The world is screwed up.

She should be given a raise not resign!!! Wtf is wrong with this world!? Not even worth helping people anymore!

She should be given an award for bravery, and selfless service to help a child!

She did the right thing. She should be cheered for helping others. We have forgotten what we should be doing.
